Over the years Dr. Orloff has been involved with Expos conveying real information about plastic surgery to a wider audience.

In 2006 Dr. Orloff was the organizer; please read the report of this very successful event.

You could feel the excitement in the air among the attendees at the 2006 Plastic Surgery Expo. Organizer, Dr. George Orloff, along with several other cosmetic surgery experts who practice at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center, hosted this year’s event. According to Dr. Orloff, this year’s theme was based on educating prospective patients about all their options and the importance of making informed decisions.

“There is no doubt this was the right thing for me,” said one attendee referring to a new understanding gained by meeting and talking to many of the healthcare professionals and experts. According to Dr. Orloff, “the purpose of the Expo is to help guide those interested in the cosmetic surgery decision-making process by offering information on a wide variety of treatments and procedures and allow insight and access to many of the top physicians and experts in the field.” In other words, in one place, at one time, anyone with an interest in the vast array of cosmetic procedures and the associated doctors, experts and product manufacturers, could learn everything they needed to know to determine what, if any, personal enhancement was right for them.

“Just meeting several of the Board Certified Plastic Surgeons has changed my viewpoint about this type of surgery. I even found out that a non-surgical option was the best route for me!”, said another attendee when asked if they felt the Expo had been informative.

New to the Expo this year were the heavily attended seminars given by the Board Certified Plastic Surgeons from this area. Many of the seminars were standing room only packed with those eager to learn more about the procedures that have now become as commonplace as cosmetic dentistry and other forms of personal enhancement.

“One might say there is a revolution underway that has to do with looking and feeling your best. The emphasis is shifting from fashion and makeup to the solutions offered by the medical professionals here, their staffs and the other representatives in this industry.” This came from Dr. Orloff in a media interviews by radio stations KFI and KFWB covering the Expo.

With countless medical and industry professionals available to talk with and the huge array of materials, literature, samples, before and after photos of actual patients and state-of-the-art equipment on display, everyone left satisfied with all their questions answered by the experts.

Dr. Orloff has vast experience with the life-changing results this industry has to offer. And he has once again taken responsibility and arranged this event for anyone interested in taking the right first step by becoming informed about what can be done to improve one’s appearance. Just as important is getting a realistic understanding of the risks involved, what results can be expected and what can be learned from others who have traveled this path.
