Tummy tuck, or abdominoplasty, is a procedure to remove extra skin and fat in the tummy area. Liposuction can remove excess fat, but often leaves extra loose and hanging skin. To tighten up the abdominal wall the surgeon reinforces the abdominal muscles that have become loose with time or childbearing. Next, extra skin is removed to provide as tight and flat of a tummy as possible. Often times the belly button is repositioned to remain in a correct position. How is the Procedure Performed?

The breast augmentation procedure is performed in a board certified surgery center while you are comfortably anesthetized. There are several approaches. A very popular approach is through a small incision around the lower areola. A small opening is made and a pocket for the implant is developed under the breast tissue. The implant is placed inside the pocket. The opening is then closed using small sutures. This approach allows the incision to heal so well that in most cases one cannot identify the healed scar. Another way is through an incision on the lower breast or through the armpit. When you meet with Doctor Orloff you can decide together which approach would best suit your body shape.
