Dark ink large or small tattoos can be completely removed or faded with laser treatments. The number of treatments will vary depending on the type of ink used, size of the tattoo and depth of the tattoo. Even different colors such as red, yellow, or green can be successfully treated and faded. Each treatment usually only lasts several minutes. We implement different techniques such as local anesthetic, numbing cream, and cold to make it as comfortable as possible.

If you have a tattoo you no longer want, laser removal can eliminate the tattoo for you.  Our YAG tattoo removal laser emits specific light energy that is absorbed by the tattoo pigment.  We can treat blue ink as well as colored tattoos.  The pigment is broken up by the laser into smaller pieces that the body can then eliminate on its own.  After the laser treatment session the tattoo is covered by antibiotic ointment and a light bandage.  The area can develop a thin scab that usually heals in a few days.  The tattoo removal often requires multiple treatments about 6 weeks apart.
