Will the Right Laser Step Forward!
While lasers have been around in the medical profession for some time, it is only recently that they have hit their stride in the cosmetic arena. This recent surge in development to some degree has been in response to the segment known as “Baby Boomers,” and their attention on maintaining an attractive, youthful appearance. A group like this who is motivated to look their best is quite aware that their skin is key to looking youthful and healthy without unwanted blemishes or conditions.
Treatment of a variety of problems on, in or near the skin is where lasers have really made huge strides. Early systems, many of which are still in use, were quite limited in application though the promise of their potential was evident. Recent years of intensive research and development uncovered numerous variations in medical applications and the many different forms these tools needed to take for optimum results. While the earlier somewhat crude systems could make some progress in many differing situations, none could have been considered ideal for any given procedure.
Now, laser devices are very condition or procedure specific. The best laser available to remove fine wrinkles is different than that for hair removal, or age spots, or to minimize facial blood vessels, or remove tattoos, etc.
At our office we insist that two important criteria are met concerning the use of lasers for the benefit of our patients. First, we will only have in our office those lasers which are considered state-of-the-art. Second, since the results from lasers are as much a function of operator competence, we intend to always be as skilled as is possible in the use and application of these devices. The best equipment with the best possible operators is the only service we intend to provide.
Along with the best possible results, our commitment will also result in the least possible discomfort, little if any downtime after a procedure and your confidence it was done right.
The most common procedures we feel lasers can contribute to address the following conditions: unwanted facial or body hair, facial wrinkles, facial blood vessels, unwanted tattoos, age spots and other pigmentation abnormalities, leg veins, birthmarks, a variety or scars including acne and many other less common skin conditions.
A consultation to discuss your concerns and the options available is without obligation and can only help you make the right decision concerning your appearance and your health. We want to help you look your best and we know how to do it right.
